Watching the Michigan and Illini game today, I actually started laughing for how much I disrespect both programs right now. A lot of media wanted to tab it as a shoot out, I thought it was sloppy gross football. Watching 2 JV teams play it out before the varsity hits the field.
The Illini were just as messy- but the Michigan offense actually has things figured out- and Illinois just doesn't matter. So rather pick on Michigan.
Michigan has the offense figured out. However, they're so far away from being a big ten defense it is a mess. They lack the skill set defensively to make any plays. Yea, they have some young ones on the defensive side of the ball but I am not sure thats a good thing.
The game just came down to who was going to screw up one 2 point conversion play.
It was 2 scout defenses aligning for the offense to run the plays- do not hurt the starters by form tackling- just give them a good look to what the alignments will be.
I think they need a catchy nickname.
