Michigan and NW









The end of the OT just points to how incompetent and/or flat-out "favoring" officials can be.

The NW player CLEARLY stepped on the line when in-bounding the ball near the end of OT. Seriously? Isn't one of the officials--say, like, the one standing by the in-bounds play handing the ball to the guy putting it in play--supposed to watch for this?

Unbelievable. If Michigan loses this game I would assume they will file complaint with B1G office. As Revsine said, "They can't do anything about it now". Still, unforgivable.
 


Hell of a game for two teams not playing for all that much. A win for NW would be good for Iowa.
 






Just an insane game and now KU and WVU went to overtime. Kansas is 0/15 for 3 point land.
 


I was rooting for Northwestern the whole time but once it went to double overtime, i kinda wanted Northwestern to lose a heart breaker.
 




NW got an absolute gift. They should have lost the first OT when their guy stepped on the line in-bounding the ball.

If I am Beilein I go OFF on B1G office.

That's the battle you choose to fight? You blow a lead in regulation and a lead at the end of the first OT and you go off on the B1G office? It's a 14-15 vs 15-15 team and that's the battle you pick?

One play does not make a game. Spike missed a clutch free throw, the Michigan dude threw the ball clear out of bounds on another play. Tons of chances for Michigan.

Sigh. If that play is called, NW doesn't GET the game-tying 3. As in, if the rules are followed. You know, like when an obvious call is missed.

The other plays you referenced weren't "blown" officiating calls.
 


I was hoping it would go to four or five overtimes. I want Northwestern to be fresh when they play Iowa.
