Came across this. From article:

Kluver chose the Hawkeyes over Iowa State, Minnesota, Wyoming and North Texas. According to Kluver's father Todd, Auburn also had some interest.

"He likes the way the Iowa coaches recruited him," Todd Kluver said. "They brought him down in August and are basically telling him that they want him to be there long snapper after Casey Kreiter graduates. And Iowa will have a need there in recruiting for 2013."

Due to the "chuckle hut" regulations in place. I will not make a long snapper joke.

Instead I will say, long snapping is actually quite difficult to master and it's a very important part of special teams. Nobody notices when you do it right, but screw up once.................

Exactly. No one ever says, "Our long snapper's been kickin' butt all day! Who is that guy???" but snap ONE over Kornbrath (which would be some feat unto itself) and EVERYONE is going to want to know your name!
