Beat Fuentes of Venesuala just now in the quarters. I watched it live and i must say Metcalf looks good. Inching closer to qualifying his weight for the olympics. Come on Brent make us proud!

Funny thing about the match is that Brent was awarded a point in the second period cuz Fuentes bit him on the hand. WTF?! haha!

Metcalf losses 1-0, 3-0 to Garcia of Canada in th finals. If I remember right Brent crushed this kid in IC during the OkSt dual.

I was there and yeah he controlled the canadian well in that match. Garcia looked very upset after losing to Brent in Iowa City. Little bit of a letdown in the finals from Brent. Hopefully he bounces back and wins the olympic trials.

I watched the video of the finals. Brent was the aggressor but he lost the ball grab in the first. That changed the complexity of the match. Brent was also the aggressor in the second period. He got in on a shot and there was a long scramble. The Canadian exposed Brent's back and was awarded a third point because USA lost the review.

Back exposure in freestyle is dumb. You can roll a guy, end up with the takedown or scramble with no one getting control and lose exposure points.
