meltdown ensued

And it SHOULD ensue, quite frankly.

I get that we're young, we have the fewest returning starters in the Big Ten, I didn't have super high expectations for this season. But not having your team emotionally ready to play, again and again; being surprised again and again by aggressive opponents (onside kick, punt fakes); poor clock and TO management; not making basic adjustments like not running smack into stacked boxes - for all the wonderful experiences this staff has given us, it has lately become just coaching malpractice.

and it ****** me off seeing the goofers jumping like school girls as this is their bowl game..... 250 yds 2tds for a rb and we lose... when was the last time that happened?

They should jump around....it's their superbowl. We only lost because this is their biggest game of the year just like ISU and Penn State.

I've been patient and holding out, understanding that this is a very young and inexperienced team. HOWEVER, this loss might have just pushed me over the edge. North Dakota state can get the job done at Minny, but we can't. Awesome. New Mexico whoever they are gets the job done at Minny, but we can't. Awesomeness.

We got beat by one of the worst teams in the country. They SHOULD jump around and be excited.

Unless you have a problem with Iowa fans celebrating when they win then it's totally irrational to complain about that.

We're not young! This is the biggest piece of misinformation about this team. We start a lot of upperclassmen, we're just inexperienced. It's not going to be better next year either.

I hope this superbowl comment is sarcasm. If not, how many times will we use this excuse for a loss?

I'm embarrassed. I can't believe we lost to a team with the WORST offense in Div I football. And HOW are we continually unprepared for fakes and on side kicks? Again we are caught with our pants down, and it's with a RB that had over 250 yards and Iowa's all time leading TD WR on the field! How could we lose? KF's style of play, that's how.

this is just stupid. how, how, how. we should have smoked this team. your running back is hammering the defense and we decide to put it in the air in the red zone. the box wasn't even stacked. they had 7 guys in the box. why can't this coaching staff figure it out. I like vandy but these road woes aren't helping his confidence much. to end my rant Ar just aren't very good plain and simple.
