Being able to block well is what will keep the guy gainfully employed for a long NFL career, though.yeah the bad thing was those targets for tj, i think like 1 target during crunch time....overtime and end of 4th. they used him in to block a bunch as stafford started going to golliday a bunch in crunch time and he never produced.
Still early, it almost always takes NFL defenses a few weeks, and sometimes damn near the postseason, to get really solid. Just look at the Patriots defense last year. They won a super bowl with it, but you never would have thought that was possible the first half of the season.Too bad Jewells tackles were all 6-7 yards downfield. Their defensive line got abused by Oakland...talk about being exposed in the middle. All the hype was that Denver was an elite defense...and they may be as they get settled...but they got destroyed.
The first one was a block in the back.Speaking about blocking, Fant had 2 holding calls in the 1st half. He will adjust and be fine I think, long term, but last night didn’t look good.

That's what happens when you go to the used car market to find quarterbacks. You'd think teams would have learned from the Vikings by now....overall the Broncos looked terrible. Flacco....yikes
oh definitely, problem is when he's their best offensive weapon, and then you hold him in for golliday who is.....meh, golliday had one on one like 3-4 times during that crunch time period, and was 0-fer.Being able to block well is what will keep the guy gainfully employed for a long NFL career, though.
Meanwhile Jackson looks like a budding star for Flacco's former team, the Ravens. That's what happens when you go to the used car market to find quarterbacks. You'd think teams would have learned from the Vikings by now.
