Not the greatest choice of years to head to the Big House, but my brother and I and our wives are headed to Ann Arbor tomorrow. We need some advice on good places to tailgate and good local watering holes.

Thanks in advance!

We tailgated on the university golf course in 2010, which is right across the street from the stadium. It was a good spot, and they do a very good job of getting people out after the game. It took maybe 15 minutes from the time we got in the car to the time we hit the interstate. They shut down the 4 or 6 lane road on the west side of the stadium and send it all one way to the interstate after the game.

This. We tailgated on the golf course in 2010 also. There are several different entrances to the golf course where they allow you to go in. We got in early to the very front entrance closest to the stadium. It was excellent. There are tons of people who tailgate on the golf course, tons. Quite frankly its the only place to be.
Very limited bathrooms though. Somebody next to us brought some PVC pipe and a shower curtain, stuck it into the ground and then you went in there, closed the curtain around you and peed. Pretty good setup.
