McNutt within reach...

He'll break that record easily. He's also remotely within reach of DJK's receiving yards record, but he'd have to set the single-season mark to break that one.

McNutt needs 86 catches, 1,071 yards, and 6 TDs to break the school records in those categories. He'll be close on TDs (probably get there), but I don't see him getting overly close to the other records. Something like 60/900 is more likely.

Yeah he's got no shot at the receptions record. The yardage record is a longshot, but possible if anyone emerges to take away some of the focus on McNutt defensively.

I think he can forget about the receptions record.

Although not a lock by any stretch, I think the yardage record is doable for him if he breaks a few big ones and stretches his YAC numbers.

As far as the TD record...I'm putting that sucker on notice! I think there's a really high likelihood McNutt takes that one down!

Even more impressive if he breaks any of these records is that he will have done it with only playing 3 years at WR.

It just doesn't seem like 6 tds is all that many. On fact, 21 as the school record doesn't seem like that many. if somehow he caught 3 in any one game (now I know that is rare) the rest is gravy.

Marvin had 8 TDs in both 2009 and 2010. I'd be suprised if he doesn't get at least 5 more this year.

This should also be an example to players who are encouraged to change positions. Look at what he has accomplished after moving from QB to WR.

I'd honestly be suprised if he didn't break the TD record. Receptions and yards are doubtful in my opinion, because we'll rely on the running game. If he's in a position to break either the receptions or receiving yard records I'd be a bit worried because IMO that means were playing from behind or had to give up on the running game.
