What does SIU-E stand for? Can't think of another school with a "-" in their acronym. Nice work Hawks. Making some progress.

yes Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, as opposed to Southern Illinois University - Carbondale

Really, never heard of a school with a -?

University of Illinois - Champaign (or Chicago or Springfield)
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill (or Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilmington, Pembroke, etc)
University of Nebraska- Lincoln (or Omaha)

Ok, maybe stretching it a bit, but that being said, a very common way of differentiating the smaller universities from the "mother university"

Also a good measuring stick. Congrats on the "record setting' win tonight.

The use of hyphens is routine. Wisconsin uses it.
Campuses

There may be a political effort to reform the Regents institutions because of budget problems. The state of Iowa (more specifically students) is paying more than it needs to for administration cost and a need to share instructors among campuses. Marv Pomerentz, now deceased, almost accomplished it in the 90's. Essentially you would have a University of Iowa - IC, ....- Ames, ....- Cedar Falls. Iowa has begun a 4 year degree program in conjunction with DMACC here in Central Iowa.
