Personally I loved it. It was a terrible call and McCaffery rallied the team in the unlikeliest of scenarios (McCabe, Basabe, Cole, Brommer all four fouls). He believes in this team and their confidence from it shows. Who would have ever guessed Archie would have a double-double in 14 minutes?

I don't think we'll win tomorrow but it would be huge for this program to beat a team from a major conference.

I was glad Fran got a T. These officials shouldn't have been on the court of a D1 game, it was brutal.

I only got to listen to the game, but when you put the other team in the double bonus with 9 minutes left in the half, you are either completely out of control or the refs are suspect.

Anybody see the game? How'd it look? Xavier made 25 free throws. Hard to beat a team like that.

Sounded like the refs were calling it one sided. That being said, you can have a stat like that if one team is way more athletic than the other.

Holloway just killed us at the line. Could not contain him,so fouled. Not good.
But, they battled,which is all we can ask this year. Be competitive even tho they are outmanned.

Looks like a hard year for the Hawks. They don't look like a team that will win many games. I just hope they can win enough to look promising for the future. However, it could be embarassing.

When they dumped Mr. Davis, they pulled a stupid move. We have never been the same again.

Getting the T in and of itself may seem like a minor thing. But it rallied these kids to give it their all and make a run and that they did. The Hawks play with energy and passion and we haven't seen that around these parts for awhile. Just watch the games and the way that Fran and his staff relate to the players. You can just tell that he has their back and they have his and that really matters in trying to turn a program around in this bad of shape.
