Maybe Iowa should look at some tape on how Duke played man to man defense in the 90s

Man I remember those guys overplaying everything in the man to man at times and kept the offense stuck way out on the perimeter.

We would need help D for the backcuts (where Gabe and Woody together could clog up the middle areas).

With our length, you would think we could get our hands in the passing lanes overplaying.

But this wide open 3 stuff has to stop. I like that Fran gives zone looks, but that needs to be extended as well.

Rebounding and loose ball drills also need to be a point of focus in practice. Giving up way to many 50-50 balls as of late.

But, maybe the over all half court defensive speed is not there to do it? Of course, Duke had elite talent, but I think it would still be worth a shot to extend things out on defense.

Yeah the dukies really get down in their defensive stances

I think they are looking at the Hoosier-Wisky tape to see how Indiana was outscored 50-29 in the second half tonight.

Probably, but make sure along the lines they understand that that Yogi fella can also hit the 3 at home and in bunches.

Everyone hits 3s in bunches against Iowa. I see only two more wins (Purdue and Illini).
