You know...very interesting question. With his frame...310 would be pretty easy to get to. He moves very well too.

He redshirted as a freshman, this coming year will be his last unless he gets hurt in the first few games.

that's what i thought. OT is a pretty big move over one offseason and be able to be a competent player. If he is moving, then perhaps our depth is shot.

The OP is just surmising that Matt may have been a better candidate and made a larger impact if he had decided to move to an offensive tackle position. He's 6'8", moves well and has a frame that would carry 315 pounds pretty easily.

I don't think he meant he was moving to OT...just hypothetical...what if...and could he have been a better OT.
