Maryland 2:30p Kick

The wife takes the kids trick-a-treating and you make it up to her later.......I dunno, it is called marriage.

The kids don't care about trick or treating. Just buy them a huge bag of assorted candy, let them run around the house in their costumes, take a few pictures, and call it good.

Man, that sounds awful letting your kids run around the house after injecting large amounts of sugar.

It's better than seeing grown men running around with there bellys hanging out holding a beer screaming were 8-0 baby.

ehhhh, give me the middle age dudes screaming 8-0, it is rare a moment you can let your guard down and not worry about being a responsible adult.

Seems like the 2:30 slot always ends up having a run over and we miss the 1 quarter!!!! Hope that doesn't happen this time! GO HAWKS!

Poop on Halloween, the Hawks are 7-0.

I love to tell all my (married) buddies how awesome it is that I don't have to answer to anyone or "discuss" how I spend my time and money. But they'll get the last laugh when I'm in a nursing home all by myself eating steamed carrots and staring out the window.

if you are parents going to the game and live in E Iowa, you can leave with around 5 min in the 3rd Q (especially if it's beat down which it should be.) That gives you plenty of time to get home, get the kids in their costumes, a bite to eat and carve a pumpkin or two and then head out into the night for Halloween fun. I remember when I was in college at Iowa (early/mid 90's) there was a home Hawkeye game. It began raining right as the game ended and didn't stop all night long. It was just a down pour, there was no trick or treating that Halloween night.

You would seriously leave a Hawks game during this run to go trick or treating?

Not trying to be facetious, I just can't comprehend it.

My 8 y.o. son (who's going to the game with me) would have a nervous breakdown if I said we were leaving to go trick or treating.

If I had a 6 year old daughter that was really looking forward to trick or treating, then yes I would leave early for her. You are only a kid once in life and Halloween only comes once a year.

Iowa being 8-0 only comes once a ? Life's about making decisions,if you want to stay home so be it and if you want to go cheer our undefeated team on that's ok to.Either way you can't lose because we're all Hawkeyes.

Makes sense.
Ohio State is on a bye.
Michigan at Minnesota is a night game on the four-letter.

This is an ABC/ESPN2 split game, again.

If you're gonna miss one, Maryland wouldn't be terrible. Now the Minnesota night game and the Purdue home finale'... be there baby.
