Marty just had that joker from California on that voted the Hawks #15. That guy kept bringing up the UNI and Arkansas St games. Marty hammered him pretty good about having Nebraska and Kansas above them. He said if the Hawks win this week he will probably move them up to 11 or 12.

If that's the case, why worry about that? Marty needs to find the coaches or Harris voters that downgrade the Hawks for the UNI and Arkansas State squeakers.

If this guy really said about moving them up to 11 or 12 then he just made himself look like a bigger idiot than he already has.
An 8-0 BCS team that has won 4 games on the road in tough environments and they are only worthy of being 11 or 12. If it was OSU or PSU they would probably already be in his top 5. The ******* must be related to Rome.

its Bull. They loving talking about who we barely beat. I just hate how now the Ark St. game is thrown in with the UNI game when i wasnt worried one bit the entire time against Ark. St.

Some people to me are just trying to find a way not to like this team. We have very good wins on our schedule so far and they notice it and they can´t take the fact Iowa is so high in the standing, so they look at games where Iowa has not performed well and just bash them for it...it´s funny Texas struggled with Wyoming for 3 quarters and the same against Colorado, but you never hear anybody bring up those games.

One reason he gave for ranking the Hawks low was because Ohio State has not fared well against USC in the past. I kid you not! What does Ohio State...or prior years...have to do with the Iowa Hawkeyes THIS year? He also went on to say he didn't think Iowa could beat USC. So what? The only games he saw the Hawks play were UNI, Arkansas St., and a quarter of the Penn State game.
