Well since he has no offers or interest from anyone else, I'll go way out on a limb and say that he does.Hopefully Markel still has interest in Iowa.
LOL, no. He's not a member of Iowa's program, so he can be contacted by anyone. His LOI became null and void once he failed to qualify.I'm not sure if this is true, so anyone please correct me if I'm wrong. Markel actually signed his LOI, then went to prep school. So, he actually cannot be contacted by any other school. So, Iowa really just needs to make sure they stay on him so that he re-signs. Is this correct?

He is still listed as an Iowa commit on Scout. http://iowa.scout.com/a.z?s=8&p=9&c=8&yr=2014
Not sure why my question was so funny, but oh well.
He signed his LOI for the 2014 recruiting class. After that he did not qualify, so he was no longer part of the 2014 class and he went to a prep school. That means he is open to sign with anyone in the 2015 class, and I think Iowa is still recruiting him. If he qualifies I think he is gonna hit campus for the second semester and will be able to go through spring practice. I believe James Daniels and Waechter are both doing this as well.
Right. I get that. But if he qualifies and then starts taking classes at Iowa for the second semester, that means he must still be a signed commit for 2014 or he would have to start as a non scholarship player and pay his own way for the semester because he can't sign another LOI until national signing day in February. Doesn't it make more sense that he is still a signed and committed player?
