Marion arrested

Wow - misdemeanor not a huge deal but it becomes moreso considering his past. I don't think this warrants removal from team though.

Yep I am familiar. If he had a license and was pulled over and ticketed for not making a complete at a stop sign do you kick him off the team?

Perception is reality. He was arrested not ticketed. You don't think he'll be kick off the team, good for you. I beg to differ.

I don't know...normally I would say he still stays on team...but given how many "strikes" he has...ya have to think he was on a 0 tolerance policy

I believe all people for driving while barred are arrested. They will issue him a sitation when he appears at court just like any other misdemeanor. I do not think he will get kicked off the team for this.

No, you wouldn't. The traffic violation isn't the issue. Driving without a license, given is past issues, is the issue, and it's a big deal.

^This normally I wouldn't even think twice about something like this...But given all of Montell's past transgressions....yikes...I think they have to at least consider dismissing him. And that really pains me because I like Montell, the wrestling fan in me says..."it's not a big deal he shouldn't miss time" My gut feeling as a person says that we may have seen the last of Montell.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone...really he should know better....he had to have realized he was on his last last chance.

Marion is a fifth year senior, right? If he gets kicked off the team completely, what are the odds that he doesn't finish school for one reason or another. If there's any risk of that, I would hate to see it happen, so I think suspending him for the rest of the season and allowing him to practice (help the team) and retain his scholarship would be preferable to kicking him completely off the team.
