Say what you want about him and lord know what went on the in the locker room last season....But Marble was obviously the lipstick on this pig of a team.
 
Sure was. Lick's recruit. Who has Fran recruited worth anything. Dickerson I assume is gone after tonight.
 
Anyone still think this team is better off without that ball-hoggin' Devyn Marble? The guy who's currently with the Orlando Magic? We sure are better without those NBA players on our team, eh? I never did buy that, not for a second.

That locker room stuff was bogus. All we had was marble was the issue... No one outside of him stepped up.
 
Losing these games by 2 points wouldn't be much better. We sucked with Marble. We suck without him. We just suck more now.

This is appearing to be the correct answer. That and the rules from a year ago (remember when they called hand checking and what not) favored our style. We aren't winning **** without a coach who can coach a half court offense. We also aren't winning without any players who can step up in the half court game.

You're right!!! SUCK SUCK SUCK!!! This ball team was lucky North Carolina had an off night shooting!!!
 
Marble led team was 1-7 down the stretch last year; hard to anoint him with the lipstick award.

1. This team is more cohesive

2. This team AS A TEAM will make up for Marble' scoring

3. Chemistry is better and will lead to more wins

You have been watching the team that's left behind, right? It's not like he was getting much help. He was the only reason the team was even respectable last year; now, teams have absolutely zero respect for our perimeter game and know that they can pack it in with absolute impunity to stop our frontcourt players.

Agree 100%. Was thinking the same thing at the beginning of this year.

And sure, we were 1-7 with him down the stretch...and we would have been 1-7 or 0-8 without him.
