LSU is ........

That's why we need at least an eight team playoff so we can get away from the politics (corruption) of the way it is now. Do you suppose if we did that seven of the eight teams would be from the $ECash?

But IMO it doesn't matter. If Iowa wins out, including the BIG championship, they would pass over LSU.

Iowa will be ranked ahead of LSU. Alabama destroyed LSU...look at the game stats. Alabama has a loss and dominated LSU. So they got beat by the cfp #4 team....they got hammered by them in essence...why would the committee reward that? They know Alabama is THAT much better than LSU. No need to keep a mismatch in the cfp. I'm confident we will jump LSU. 1. Clemson 2. Ohio State 3. Alabama 4. Notre Dame 5. Baylor 6. Iowa 7. LSU 8. Oklahoma State

This is only true if the team Iowa plays in the B1G championship is undefeated. The SEC supporters and ESPN are looking for any reason to count the B1G champ out.

You are assuming the committee members are reasonable and fair.

Alabama's b*tch. The question is will Iowa be ranked above the b*tch.

The thing is...if alabama wins out they will go to the SEC title game and not LSU. So in the end, it doesn't matter, 13-0 Iowa would stay ranked ahead of LSU, or they would "jump" LSU after beating Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

Not playing in a conference title game will KILL certain teams

I think Iowa jumps LSU. LSU is very one dimensional and Iowa is a more complete team. Also, Iowa is undefeated obviously.

Of course. As i debated in another thread...anything can happen and at that point we can all lose our sh!t if iowa is behind any one loss team if we are 13-0. But the committee and it's members can be replaced ridiculed embarrassed and on some level will care how they are viewed. Last year as this year you can argue against the big 12 champ unless it is Oklahoma state and their body of work if they are 13-0 and conf champs. You can't argue against an undefeated big ten champ no matter who they play. The big ten won the national title last year. OSU returned most of that team and was near unanimous preseason #1. If we beat a once beaten msu or osu...if we are undefeated we will be in. Think of the old polls...other than maybe one time..the final two unbeaten teams are ALWAYS 1-2...its just THE WAY. Public opinion no matter how biased we think it is against us will not allow for 13-0 big ten champ iowa to be left out. But we have to get there first.

Well of course I agree with your explanation and synopsis. Let's hope we get there and enjoy the opportunity to be discussing all of this at 13-0. That would be simply awesome!!!!! Go Hawks and keep the dream alive!!!!!!!!!

I'd be shocked if Iowa was ahead of LSU in the CFP

Yes, despite their misperceptions, the Cabal will still be enamored by the Big O and SEC.
1. Clemson =
2. 'Bama +2
3. Domers +2
4. OhSU -1
5. Baylor + 1
6. LSU -4
7. Iowa +2
8. Ok State +6
9. Stanford +2
10. Florida =
11. MSU -4
12. Utah =
13. TCU -5
