Looks like Rhule will be next Nebraska Coach

Rhule doesn’t have a fucking clue what it takes to put out a dumpster inferno and rebuild a program from the ground up in the B1G.

If he comes to nebraska it’ll be to take a huge guaranteed contract as a last ditch effort before he becomes irrelevant.

Great hire for everyone but nebraska if it happens.

Actually, it is a very good hire for Nebraska. He can get them to the 8,9,10 win mark within a year or 2. That's not good for Iowa.

No he won’t. That program has much, much bigger problems than HC.

He’s got no idea the competition in the BIG. His greatest success was in the big 12 where players couldn’t spell defense.

Disagree. nebraska’s ship has sailed. They’re the laughing stock of football and every recruit knows it. Regardless of whatever bullshit recruiting ranking they get every year, the results on the field show they can’t pull talent in. Their program’s culture is broken, and they have nothing to build on whatsoever. This isn’t a problem that a head coach can come in and get competitive in a few years. People said that about Riley and Frost. Both of them were going to come in and change the status quo and they failed miserably because that program is permanently destroyed.

What has Rhule done? “He rebuilt Temple?” lol. That’s no different than Frost at UCF and we see how much good that did him in big boy football.

Baylor? Again, lolsies. He had a single decent season, his teams never beat a ranked team in the 3 years he was there, and his one good season wasn’t even with his own recruits.

Matt Rhule has no resume just like Riley and Frost had no resume. He’s a fake trying to use a little success in a JV conference and a single good year at a school using someone else’s recruits. Sounds a lot like a certain redheaded drunk from nebraska we all liked to make fun of a few months ago.

nebraska football is dead.
 
Rhule is .522 lifetime in college ball, and he completely wrecked Carolina.

He's 19-18 in power 5 ball and never beat a ranked team.

Someone really needs to start selling the case as to why this dude would be an improvement over Riley or Frost.
 
I do find it funny none of the big names would touch the place. Did Urban Meyer even give them an interview?
