I was starting to get nervous. I really think this kid has talent and is a good find for this staff. Yes, I'll say it again; he has to be utilized properly in the passing game. I hope he hasn't missed to much time. He could be a little slow coming out of the gate.
 
He's played sparingly the last two years so I think just the opposite about slow out of the gate. If he has any talent I expect him to get as many reps in practice as he can handle. A deep threat is something we desperately need. We know he was expected to block (that's the hardest thing usually for a rookie). This might be quite liberating for him to actually run a pass route with a chance of being thrown to. I gonna allow myself to get a little pumped about his potential now that soul crusher Davis is not running the offense.
 
With Vandeberg and based on what I've read on Easley, I think we have 2 solid options. Add in the TEs, I really think we only need 2 more guys to step up. Obviously more the better but if we can get 4 reliable options at WR, I think we'll be ok but need Vandy to stay healthy.

Now with Quarells experience, you think he could be a 3rd guy. I hope between the freshman, Falconer and Young, we can get that 4th reliable option filled.
 
Well, If pictures tell a thousand words...we look good in pictures. There are several options that are intriguing at WR. Quarells for one. Then you have two of the freshman that have what appear to be the physical tools to play the position...Smith and Marsette-Smith or whatever his name is. Devonte Young looks good in pics and Easley is also very photogenic. We have some athletes...so I'm hopeful we can lure the defense in to stop the run...and throw it behind them.
