Chad is the ferentz family’s preferred reporter and that’s a good place to be career-wise. Kirk has been here 20 years. There is no point in being harsh or tough with him, he isn’t going to give you answers. You’ll just lose your access.

I think when Brian takes over, the media’s interaction with the program could get more interesting.

It will be okay, but Northwestern is coming off having one of the most successful QBs they've ever had. That guy was good at playing keep away and boosted their defense as well. I think the West is a two horse race between Iowa and Wisconsin. Northwestern and Nebraksa will duke it out for third. If anyone will surprise way to the upside, it will be Purdue.
