Lol forecast

Rain hurts Iowa more than Wisconsin since we actually want to pass the ball. Though given how many times Wisconsin coughed the ball up last weekend, maybe it will lead to a couple of favorable turnovers.

Well, passing is going to be negated, so I guess that might hurt Iowa's "advantage"
But, if its slick, that might negate MG111 speed and cutting, so that might help straight ahead style of MW?

not sure....

It is all about the wind for passing.....what is the wind forecast?

I think the best forecast for Iowa would be sunny and windless.
But, if the wind is minimal, even with rain, passing is do-able.
The field turf ensures that Gordon and Clemens will have great footing....if we had the better turf...real grass, we might slow them down...but when we went to field turf, we gave up our edge at home. Since we installed that turf, our home record has fell off the table....bad decision.

OK, I looked it up.....forecast calls for 11 mph south winds.....Jake is good to 10 mph, but above that he struggles....have to hope the forecast is wrong.

"Sloppy weather and field conditions were no match the Wisconsin Badgers' efforts Saturday afternoon at Northwestern's Ryan Field. Unfortunately, slow starts have started to become the norm and not the exception for the Badgers, and on Saturday, Wisconsin fell to Northwestern, 20-14. Continuing with the sloppy theme, Northwestern capitalized on Wisconsin turnovers. Four interceptions and one long missed field goal led to 17 Wildcat points. "

...........as some in the media reported it on 10/4.

I say let it rain.

P.S. Too bad we don't have a real grass field as we could deploy some of Fry's supposed tactics of encouraging the field crew to make sure the turf was watered appropriately for certain teams/games.
