It looked to me that Iowa used more of a straight up blocking/ISO play against OSU. I could be wrong, but I think this has something to do with their ability to find the run game again. The tackles especially were getting good push all day with just coming off ball and firing forward man on man. It seems all year other teams had Iowas number on the Zone scheme selling out and getting penetration almost on the snap. Maybe some who knows more about line play can watch it and put in your 2 cents. I gotta say it reminded me quite a bit of how the NDSU line played against us last year. Could it be the assistant coaches were allowed to run the schemes they know to be successful. There seemed to be a lot of that going on against OSU.
