As a life long Hawkeye fan (46 years) and long time season ticket holder (go section 135!), I've lived through good and bad teams and have always continued to support the boys on the field. There is no question that we are being out coached regularly by our opposition. We used to improve as the season continued, but that hasn't occurred in several years. Our qb's regress the longer they are here, our defense continues to play the same, with the exception of the Raider package that rarely shows up. Kirk isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Parker and Davis must go, but no one at the U of I has the balls to make that decision. Players need benched and I'm pretty sure the only one being considered to to be benched this week is King because he spoke the truth after the game.
No help for a left tackle that gets beat off the ball continually. No pressure from a 4 man rush. A QB that lost his pocket presence because of too many hits. A D-line that is getting it's butt kicked every play. Everyone sees it, but no adjustments are being made by the staff. Time to go Phil and Greg!
