Less Talented and Slow Big 10

I know the conference regained some respect this bowl season but I would like to point out all the Big 10 players from different teams last night that played and some were standout performancers during the game ...Clark- Iowa, Brees- Purdue, Thomas and Hayden- Illinois, Jenkins and Smith- Ohio State, Porter- Indiana, Goodwin and Arrington- Michigan

No, they were all too slow & plodding to have made any meaningful contributions to the game, just ask Pat Forde, he'll tell you and he's a genuine expert at football.

I was thinking the same thing while watching the game. Not only did they play well but a lot of them looked very fast. Clark is one of the fastest if not the fastest TE. Roby was very fast on KOR, fellow hoosier Porter had no chance of being caught. Jenkins darn near jumped that "slow" Miami guy for a pick. Brees also was faster and outplayed that SEC golden boy.

As always the Big Ten was well represented in the Super Bowl.

Total Big Ten starting QB's in the Super Bowl 13
Total SEC starting QB's in the Super Bowl 10 so the Big Ten has done ok I would say. # of wins for Big Ten QB's 7 SEC 6 again Big Ten stacks up well and look at this years playmakers in Super Bowl Clark, Porter,Roby all Big Ten quality as always just like the Slogan says America's Premier Conference The Big Ten.
