Leistikow article in DMR gets it all wroing.......

This writer knows more about football and specifically about Iowa than most everyone on this forum, including me. I do, however understand what he writes since he is clear and to the point in his articles. You probably misread this article. He specifically nailed the
Issue with Iowa’s offensive woes...the interior offensive line is very weak. This is on the coaching staff in that recruiting, development, and lack of depth have created this problem.
So, Chad L. Hardly got it all wrong.

Chad Leistikow knows more about the Ferentz family because he's their pool boy, not because he's knows anything about football. He's an ass-kisser and apparently a fan of Huckleberry Finn.

completely agree. Somewhere the offensive staff assumed guards would develop last spring or summer to the level of a big ten lineman and they didn’t. So whether that’s on recruiting and scouting or on coaching and development. We don’t know.

You've got limited scholly spots and our staff is right on a lot of guys other teams miss on. But sometimes they are wrong. When you're right 52% of the time, you're wrong 48% of the time.

IDK, he's criticized aspects of the program before. Not a total lackey anyway.

There was a time that Chris was pretty hard on the Hawks....maybe it rubbed Chad the wrong way.....who knows these days....
Yeah maybe. He's as big a Hawk fan as I know in the media. That's certainly possible I suppose. But how thin skinned are some folks even if so geez.

Maybe Chad was actually trying to block Chris Hansen. Hmmm.

Ultimately its on the hc.

Several years ago when PSU scored on the last play. Early in the drive on 3rd down or 4th a defender had Barkley for a loss. They went in hard and Barkley leaped him while getting hit. Use arms to wrap him up and it was game over.

Is that player or coaching?
