You know, those post game comments by Lebron, the one's where he said all the haters have to wake up tomorrow and be in the same lives they were in before, and I get to wake up in the morning and be me.... they seem really applicable here.

Kinda sucks being you bro.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it amazing that no ones criticisizing Wade at all, being that he was the one that Miami had established as their go to guy in the Finals come crunch time early in the series.

Wade is the big winner in all of this. All of the LeBron criticism over shadows all of Wade's flaws. His poor Chicago series, his missed free throw and turnover at the end of Game 2, his terrible game last night, his roling in the coughing video, his stupid explanation that it was all a joke on the media. He gets let of easy in the rush to judge LeBron.

I wonder if Pippen is wishing he had kept his mouth shut yet.

Conspiracy theory time:
I think Pippen, recognized that LeBron was playing out of his mind against Chicago, knew that people would blow up his comments and put a ton more pressure on LeBron, and said something he didn't really believe just to mess with LeBron. He knew that if he could get in LeBron's head, LeBron might fail and Jordan's legacy (a legacy intrinsically tied to Pippen's legacy) would be intact.

This is probably crazy, but its my conspiracy theory for today.

I agree. Without LeBron, Wade is taking serious heat today. However, the difference between LeBron and Wade is an NBA title ring, and he actually seemed to be trying in the 4th quarter of the Finals.

Agree somewhat. However, Lebron was also laughing in the video and equally worthless on the court in the series that counted the most. At least Wade came to play this series. Lebron....not so much.

Those stats aren't true. Hate Lebron but he hit a meanlingless 3 last night and made a meaningless layup in game 5 with a minute left.

I'm not saying LeBron wasn't at fault for the coughing video, he definitely was, but he also took about 95% of the criticism for it. He was also terrible in the finals, there's no question Wade was better. But Wade had some really bad games against Chicago and took no heat for that because LeBron bailed him out.

No need to sugarcoat it. Wade was TERRIBLE in the Chicago series. Lebron definitely had the better series. I still think Bosh was by far the most consistent and productive player the Heat had all through the playoffs. No way they make it that far without him.

LeBron likes the idea of being "The King", he just doesn't like the responsibility of it.

Your argument might carry more weight if you didn't make things up.

"Crunch Time Scoring" is defined as points scored with less than five minutes left in regulation or overtime when the score was within five points either direction before the shot was taken. LeBron scored zero "Crunch Time" points this series, which is very odd when you consider how well he played during crunch time against Boston and Chicago and during the regular season (3rd in the league behind Kobe and D-Rose among players with at least 15 crunch time games in points per 48 minutes).

So the stat is correct, it just wasn't well defined in the OP.
