Last time 11-0 team

When, if ever, was the last time a P5 conference had an 11-0 record with no one on the team getting any love for the Heisman. I am not saying C.J. is a Heisman candidate but he is a 12-0 career starter at QB, and without him we are at best probably a 7-5 team. So if the Heisman is supposed to go to the "Best Player" I understand--however historically it goes to the most impactful player on a winning team (Matt Leinart over Reggie Bush) and more often than not a QB.

Also I find odd how much the national media sets the agenda. 2002 we were the Cinderella media darlings, but at that point KF had been building towards it ,I think Ia was on the national media radar and more accepted. 2015 came out of nowhere-there was certainly no building towards it-at least from an outsiders perspective. Now Ia is 11-0 and has reluctantly earned there way up in the poles, but a lot of that has to do with other teams losing more than Ia winning. In the end though "It just doesn't matter". Ia wins they get what they earn--they lose they get what the earn--Kind of--see above question about Heisman.

speaking of 2002, Ohio St went 13-0 and I don't remember them getting any heisman love.

2002 OSU barely had much of an offense, good thing they didnt give the heisman to Clarett. This hawkeye team is the sum of all its parts, a lot of very good players synching up their skills to win games and make great plays.
