I was 100% certain last night was a loss. Beauty to see Hawks get back on track and steal one. Not to mention, they did what they needed to do to help themselves; something that usually ends up the other way when the Hawks control their own destiny.

Right now, can't see them finishing any worse than 5-4. That's 10-8 / 19-12, which is solid bubble that will either be in or burst by that 1st BTT game.

I am really leaning toward 6-3 (Maryland, Indiana and one of Nebby or PSU), to finish 11-7 / 20-11, which is a lock and the BTT determining their 7 - 10 seed.

Will try to avoid lamenting the Purdue loss and that they would be a lock, right now, with little pressure except to finish business and possibly 12-6, their best B14 finish in a decade.
(Wait, just did it ... aw, crap.)

Anyway, GO U F-ING HAWKEYES! Do what you should do and it'll be a fun March!!

Really worried about our individual matchups against Indiana's perimeter players. That one has some potential to get ugly.

I don't think it will be ugly but I already have that one projected as a loss. So it will be what I already expect or a pleasant surprise.

Win the home games and get 2 out of the 3 winnable road games and we're 12-6 and likely tied for 2nd in the final standings. Lose to Maryland and we're still in great shape at 11-7. I don't think we will lose to Maryland...2-3 on the road in conference games.

Indiana has to shoot lights out from 3 to beat anybody in the B1G. They are plenty able to do it and if they do they will beat us. But if they have an off night, it will look a lot like the Michigan game.

Last year's rescheduled game at Indiana due to roof falling down was the beginning of the downward spiral for Iowa. Let's just hope Iowa is still grinding and winning over the last 9 games to close out this year.
