Lady Hawks 16 Indiana 15 at the end of the 1st. quarter. Whitney Jennings with 10 points. Go Hawks!
 
I'm liking Chase, Megan, Tania, Whitney and Ally as the starting 5! They are starting to play as a team.
 
Wow they blow a 17 point lead! Disappointed but I imagine the Hawks feel a lot worse. This team is going to be fantastic in the future. Looking forward to watching them improve game by game. I think this one is on the coach. JMO.

I hate to disagree with you, but this loss wasn't on the coach. It was disappointing, but we let Indiana shoot 11/13 in the 4th quarter. They were hot 4/4 from 3, but the other 7 shots were layups. Our post defense is very inexperienced and we get taken advantage of inside. The only time we really got a stop a very late whistle and a phantom foul call bailed out Indiana. The when Disterhoft drove the lane she got raked on the arm, lost the ball and was called for traveling. Two bad calls that hurt,but this loss was on our interior defense. The team's offense has come together, but we still have lots of work to do on defense. Coach will have them working on this and I expect improvement. Hope it comes in time to get use to the NCAA tournament. Recruiting help is on the way for the next two years.

I hope they make the ncaa tourney also.........I called it on the coach because they just stood around at the top of the key with no rotation or movement time and time again. This team isn't good enough to take that kind of approach. Trying to get shots off with time running down isn't going to help them. They are very young and will keep improving and they do have a great class coming in next year and the Hawks are going to be very good. It's just this is the second time they have let a 17 point lead get away from them. ?
