Big Ten Tournament: Iowa women to have one more shot at Nebraska - The Daily Iowan

I believe the game is on today at 1:00 on BTN if anyone wanted to know. From article:

"The Nebraska game is interesting to me because they swept us," Bluder said. "As a competitor, you'd love to have the opportunity to go against them again."

A lot has changed since the teams last met in the part of the season Bluder referred to as Iowa's "low point."

Iowa was 3-5 in conference play after its second loss to Nebraska, but the Hawkeyes have since gone on an eight-game winning streak to end the regular season and clinch the No. 3 seed in the tournament.

I am going to watch it. If you all want me to I will keep you posted. Not play by play, but a general of whats going on score wise.

I was planning on watching as well, but my BigTen Network feed just went to **** during the OSU game.. Hopefully it comes back by one.

36-30 with 30 left in first Hawks up. Wahlin is killing the 3's. I mean from way way out. She is a doll to look at as well. Sorry but something about a woman with her hair all tied back and giving it her all, gets my motor running.

36-33 at the half.

Have never seen it before, didn't even know it was possible.....

I have never seen that before either. Have to have real soft touch.

Ugh. I didn't like this matchup. All things considered a Mr. Davis-like win one/lose one in the NCAA will be OK for Bluders Bunch.

It happened in a Bulls game a couple of weeks ago on a missed free throw. It was called a jump ball.

How do refs decide traveling, double dribble and carrying calls. Seems 3 steps is legal sometimes and carrying isn't called often at all.

Nothing to be ashamed of, Woody.....

Love the Lady Hawks. Hope they don't play the first game of the NCAA at their opponent's home court again.....

Quite the performance by the Huskers, especially after they played yesterday. Whereas it looked like our legs were gone at the 10 minute mark. We played pretty well, not many teams could have done that to us. Wouldn't surprise me if NE ran the table in the tournament.

Not ashamed at all. With Printy going down to injury it was great to see Logic and Dixon up their games, and Wahlin has had a very strong senior year. They are likely going to be a 8 or 9 seed and that makes for a tough matchup...one I'd gladly welcome for the Iowa men soon!
