Iowa, already projected as a 3 seed in their BIG DANCE, NC2A bracketology on ESPN'
Website are pushing for a 2 seed.

Win number 20 on the year, a 69-61 win in lincoln
 
We've got Indiana,2with minny,Wisconsin and Ohio st. left. Can run the table for a strong chance at that 2 seed. BIG10 tourney championship rematch would be awesome against Maryland! GO HAWKS!
 
okay...I admit I've never been a WBB fan, but I will say this team is fun to watch. Can Dixon play for the men's team?
 
the lady hawks are fun to watch. the men are so frustrating to watch. the women can shoot, the men struggle mightily shooting. they have a shot at a 2 or 3 seed
 
This team really is special. They defended poorly in the 1st half and had mediocre to poor shooting throughout most of the game, but turned up the defense in the 2nd half and when the game got close they made the plays. Peschel with a big shot, Logic with a couple of great passes and a key block, Disterhoft with clutch free throws, and Melissa Dixon with a couple of cold blooded 3's. It doesn't get much better than this. They win a tough road game with perseverance and toughness.

The only thing I'd be concerned about would be those early losses to Arkansas and (especially) Illinois. Neither were at home, which softens the blow a little, but if their only losses were to Louisville and Maryland, they'd probably be in position to make a run at a 1-seed down the stretch if they take care of business and won the conference tournament.

I'm pretty sure the 2 seed related to the conference tournament. That's what I was saying anyway.

She's absolutely great as a 3 point shooter, but no she can't play for the Men.

However, she sure as heck could come to a Practice or 2 and show how you shoot it, with
CONFIDENCE.

You are absolutely correct. Melissa Dixon has the utmost confidence. Love to watch her launch those bombs! If she misses you don't see her hang her head. Next time it's nothing but net. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!
