I keep trying to figure out why Iowa comes out one game fired up and the next game shows little fire and intensity.
10 games into the season and from my perspective I think I've figured it out. The Hawks are missing senior leadership from the standpoint of what we saw last year with Angerer.
Clayborn, Stanzi and the rest of the seniors are pretty good people but none of our seniors show consistent fire in their bellys week in and week out.
Iowa needs vocal leaders every game and this year I haven't seen that emotion every week.
