Today's loss can be credited to the players. I watched it all and saw a team who did not seem like they wanted to be out there at all. Minnesota hit them in the mouth all game long and out played them. The Iowa player that stood out the most was our "great" defensive end Adrian Clayborn. I watched him wiff on so many tackles and get absolutely man handled by the tackle of Minnesota. My assumption is that he is too worried about getting "hurt" for his future NFL career. It was pathetic and hard to watch that is not at all what Iowa football is about and it is not what it has been built on. Wearing the black and gold is a privilege not a right and I think these players have lost sight of that maybe because of all their hype. I think the players attitude reflects the coaching staff. I would like to see some fire on the sidelines once in awhile.
