You know I tried very hard to not be negative but it's gettting more and more difficult to do. In all honesty I've talked to former players and many loyal hawkeyes fans and many have said that Iowa may be the worst 7-5 football team in college football this year...... Soon to be 7-6 in an hour or so.
 
If he Kirk would step down after this game I could honestly say I respect for all the great things he did for the football program. If however he stays on board and this is what we see until he is gone then he will lose that respect.
 
Do people not know his name is Kirk or is there some inside joke im missing when people call him Kurt all the time

I just googled him and I never realized that the TV announcers were saying Kurk and not Kirt. Hmph! Surely I'm not the only one.

Yea their just playing with his name. In a way I suppose this is their way of giving him the Rodney Dangerfield treatment. "I tell ya I get no respect, no respect at all, I tell ya."

It goes way back when some unfamiliar with the program mispronounced his name. Now it is used as a general sign of disrespect.

Yah, they let all the prison inmates out on a one day pass so they could go watch their favorite team and not even have to change their clothes. Does make it difficult going to the bathroom at the same time with shackles on.
 
There definitely are a couple. It took the crack camera crew 3 and a half quarters, but after the DKing pick they did manage to pan to a lonely group of about 6 dressed in the black and gold. The rest of their traveling party looked to be disguised as empty blue seats, however. KF needs to be a man and take his 150K bowl appearance bonus and personally reimburse each and every Iowa fan that wasted their time and money to watch this catastrophe in person.
