KU Transfer

Hoiberg schedule a visit yet?

According to cyfan he was the number 37 ranked player out of high school and according to at least one poster Fred has raised the bar so high over there that this kid isn't good enough for them. I didn't see much of them wanting to get on board with this kid. If he was from another school they'd be drooling over them but their hatred for Kansas and their belief that they've beaten KU 6 times in a row probably keeps them from wanting him.

I'm sure Self is going to block him from going to another big 12 school.

Self says he would have started in their first game. Must be a solid player. Would love to see Fran give him a call.

He'd probably excel at a place like Iowa. I'd imagine he'll look to play for WSU though.

Supposed to be a great shooter, can never have enough of those. I think it'd be worth Fran kicking the tires on this kid at least and see if there is any interest.

I'd like for Fran to give him a call but we need a big man. It's looking more and more like he's going to be a Shocker.

Anyone know much about this kid? Apparently he's a shooter.

I live in KC and watch a lot of KU basketball. I think if he came to Iowa we would think more of his shooting ability over three years than we would of Oglesby's last three years. I am not trying to slam JO, I am just saying. I think under the right circumstances he could be a pretty good player at Iowa. But based upon other things, like what we need to recruit, maybe it isn't meant to be.

I can't disagree with this approach. Makes sense.
