It tells me that Michigan wants to finish off their recruiting class with a high-quality OG. That's probably part of the reason why Diamond cooled on them (in addition to the fact that he probably is right on the border when it comes to qualifying academically).

Ohio State is still the primary school that we'd have to worry about. Aside from them ... we have more than a punchers chance to land him against LSU and Michigan.

That seems right. UM, has 5 OL commits but their depth chart on OL in 2012 is thin.
