Kobe Bryant Tears Achilles Tendon

Does he retire?

dude's way too competitive. he'll probably go the way of Jordan and play till he just can't anymore. he won't be ready for the start of next season though, that's for sure. unless he gets some of Ray Ray's deer antler spray.

deer antler spray doesn't connect a ruptured achilles tendon. this is a tough one, but recoverable. Beckham can come back at his age to top-flight soccer, so can Kobe.

here is an interesting article and a layman's explanation of the process in front of him:

it also doesn't heal a torn triceps in half the time either....

it's like a HGH precursor. it definitely helps in the rehab process.

anywho, this injury isn't all that uncommon lately. and has good results post surgical. Surgery for an Achilles tendon rupture if anyone can make it back, it will be Kobe.

the thing about a torn achilles is that all of your body weight goes thru it. if you are moving, so is it. no hiding it like you can a muscle tear in your arm - not to diminish that by any means. he'll be casted up for a long time, and when he comes out of that cast, his calf will have atrophied to about half it's size. that is what i mean about my deer antler spray comment. it is a tough road, no short cuts.

Kobe has a history of being willing to try anything to recover from an injury. I expect that he'll go overseas and try some experimental stuff like he did two years ago and recover at unprecedented speed.

that's what i mean too. it's like a precusor to HGH, so it really gets the process going. for those who want to bulk up, or catch up through rehab.
they do all kinds of things nowadays. wouldn't at all be surprised to see him go overseas for stem cell treatments, PRP injection or the like
