The guy is great, amazing how he was also underused at Iowa. Just saw replay of an 85 yard td and he was running away from the defense

Hate to point this out but I believe #47 was responsible for that area of the field. Looks like Josey got sucked into the wash on the play action.

Did he come in with Jon Wisnieski? (#7 TE in that class according to ESPN)
KF has recruited well at the TE position.
Logan Lee in the current class appears to be special. 16th ranking according to ESPN
Coons in the class of 17 I believe is gone (?)
In the 16 class Fant was ranked 15th - Beyer 16th - TJ 44th (can't get more loaded than that - was Weiting in this class?)
2015 class Nate Vejvoda 24th TE - Cook 4star athlete converted to TE

Sure would be nice to have Fant in the bowl game - at the WR position.

Kittle is on target to have over 1500 total yards in his first two years in the NFL. Could he be the next Dallas Clark?

So the idiot coach couldn't get him 5 more yards in the second half. Needed 214 to break Sharpe's record. They surely knew.
Maybe they didn't want to pay Kirk the 100k bonus he has written into his deal with Barta that covers former Iowa players setting NFL records.

This might be a tad blathsfamous on this site but he might end up better than Clark as a pro... Offenses are different now and so far he's on a team that seems to be featuring him. Clark was the 3rd banana in Indy during his time which for some games got him a ton of work when they were focused on them but never the less Kittle is just this good too. I hope he stays healthy and keeps doing his thing out there dude is fun to watch

Yet Fant was not just receuiter as a te. I know the sites all say that now.

So I wonder how he was the 15th ranked te in the class?

George Kittle is an absolute beast. You can't compare him to Clark yet though. Clark played for so long he was a frickin Ironman. Kittle has already missed time for injuries. Although this season he appears to be hanging tough. If Kittle can play a full healthy career then he could possibly end up better than Clark. Long way to go though.

Not to take anything away from Kittle, but most NFL "defenses" are an absolute joke at this point.

Between all the rules changes and the way passing games are evolving, they just look confused...

The NFL wants games to be scored in the 60's. They threw a party after the Monday Night classic KC vs LA. It ain't getting any easier for defenses from here.
