Great "stories" so far in the Ferentz meaning here.

Nardo, Bernstein, KMM, and Kirksey(biggest surprise-impact player) and to some lesser extent either because expectations were already pretty high or they've just shown flashes in limited play--Vandenberg, Candezi(sp?), Davis, and McCall.

Nardo and Bernstine are two big ones already. Kirksey is right up there, too. Good thing, because the defense is the unit that is going to need the most "stories" this year.

Guthrie's a good story at punter...we all worried that there'd be a drop off there and he's been great.
