"Glad to hear Mark Dantonio is doing well. Want to congratulate Adrian on his award. He is a great player. Great to get the win it was a tough hard fought game. Very competitive Big Ten game on both sides. Atmosphere was great and bye week comes at a good time. We are thin at some spots and were down to our fourth MLB the other night.
 


Q: Saw Denard last year. What you see this year and how tough to prepare

A: We saw him briefly last year and he was not put in a good spot. He had to run a two minute drill. The only thing I have seen, maybe 5 or 8 snaps so far. We have not begun that process yet. He is racking up great stats. I saw a clip and I don't know that I have seen a faster player in our conference
 


Q: Doesnt look like playoff anytime soon. Any Merit to reverting to conference champions going to bowl games outside of the polls.

A: I like it the way it is. IF we went to a plus-one game I have no opposition. Outside of that, its good to talk about. You do it each week
 


Q: How easy do you take it on your players this week

A: We will try to be smart. It was eight weeks on Saturday we have been going at it. Going forward from Saturday is another eight weeks. We have to give everyone a chance to get their legs. This year, we have had more injuries than we have had in other years. We have some younger guys that need to get moved along. On Saturday, if you told us in August that James Morris would have been playing James Morris v PSU, we would have been nervous.
 


Q: WHo are some of the younger guys

A: Our RB position is not real deep, since two of the three we thought would play are not with us. We need to get some guys moving forward.
 


Q: Last week talked about Adrian had handled things well, even if not fill up stat how gratifying

A: It will come. He is a good player playing well. Like anything, if you press too hard or change what you are doing because of others that wont work. Good players get attention. He needs not to worry about that, just playing our defense and that is what he did last week.
 


Q: One play where he was doubled, a running back waiting for him, has that been this year?

A: Yeah. When you have a guy that can be disruptive, you try to find ways to limit his access to QB. You can put a lineman and a tight, or push a guard out and use a back. That happens to everyone. HE has a resume and people are aware of him in the gameplan. What he has to do is not let it get in his head and play football
 


Q: No Denard on your team..are you looking for that guy for scout team?

A: I doubt there is one in the country. The thought I have had about him due to the talk, the first thing I thought about was Randle El, who we had a hard time defending for three years. We will do what we can.

Q: No movement on Wegher front?
A: If he comes back, we will let you know. We are coaching guys we have. As far as I know he is gone for at least this season, maybe forever. He will decide that and work through.
