Kingsbury vs Kirk F as NFL coaches then and now.

I would say that if Kliff Kingsbury can get hired by the NFL that Kirk F easily had some legitimate overs back in the day, maybe even up to 2010 or so. Kirk would have definitely been an in demand head coach candidate from 2002-2010.

I mean Kingsbury couldnt even keep winning the the Big 12 when all you have to do is hire a good Def Coord who can recruit and slow down the other team. Kingsbury had some very good offenses and I suppose the Az Cards want to go like the Chiefs and Rams.

I am really surprised that TCU has lost some luster in the Big 12 becasue coach Patterson seemed to always have great defenses. Maybe Patterson has lost his edge or energy.

But overall I am now not really going with some people's line that KF was never a solid NFL candidate.

You know who the missing link between these two guys is? Maybe a certain Wide Receiver from Rock Island High School with the classic "NFL Body" that drives message board guys crazy? Like maybe he went down to Texas to play JUCO ball there and caught like 20 passes and 200 yards in every game before enrolling in Texas Tech?
