KFs excuse making in the post game just permanently lost me

Reporters tried to ask him on 3 different occasions about the offensive struggles the last 2 weeks following OSU, and all 3 times, when talking about the Wisky game said "They're a Top 5 team and make it hard for any team to move the ball, so no surprises there..."

Does KF not realize that that bad of an offensive performance hadn't been seen at Iowa since 1944? Does he not realize that no Top 25 team in 25 years has had a worse offensive performance?

And then he talks about specific plays like the roughing the punter or letting a punt go over your head as if we are incapable of being able to overcome that.

If we aren't capable of overcoming those things and are forced to play perfect football to win, then fire the whole staff and find someone who has the wherewithal to coach a team thru mistakes!

I was talking about the post game presser, not the Dolph post game.

And KF is a lot of things, but he's not a dolt, a moron, etc....you don't get nearly 150 wins at a P5 school being dumb. But today, he did something out of character, and in my book, completely unacceptable...which was to explain (excuse) away poor performances the last 2 weeks. I can tolerate a lot of things...but making bullshit excuses for shitty performances and not owning it is at the top of the list of things I can't stand.

Look, the problem is that o-line is truly horrendous and our second CB options are horrendous and Purdue exploited that for two TDs. He's not gonna throw a group of 19 and 20 year old kids under the bus, but that's the truth about this team. You're a grown ass man, you have to understand this.

The problem is Bowlsby; Barta; the Boosters; the media and 400,000 fans have convinced KF that he really is superior. The ego that got him to the hall of fame, also made him stubborn beyond measure. And his decisions regarding contracts and relatives make it clear he has an entitlement problem. A problem big enough to make it impossible to truly own his shortcomings.
