Please exit before we become a Nebraska type program where we win the games we should and get blown out by everyone else. You've brought nothing but embarrassment to a once proud program. Thinking BF was the best candidate out there to replace Davis is a joke.

this is turning into a nightmare, look how bad the past 8 years have been under Kirk, and now we are looking at being stuck with his kid as our next head coach. We are getting close to becoming like Illinois in football.

We arent close to Illinois. Bad isnt fair either. Not sure anyword describes it well.

Illinois is young...and we struggled to excel against them...they will be better next year...but wait, next year or the following two will be the big years for Iowa...until 2018 rolls around with a new set of excuses and pushing out the big year talk as Iowa continues to "develop"...sigh...

Kirk Ball...expect the expected...

I think ISU will beat us next year.

I really thought the bf hire would not work out. It is actually looking worse than I though. This is gonna end like titanic

I thought there was no way BF could be worse than Davis so I took a wait and see approach. Well, I was wrong. I've seen nothing from BF that gives me any confidence the offense will look decent under him. He and his dad are killing this program. 6-6 is not acceptable.

Look at the bright side - if we get to the Pizza Pizza Bowl we can finish 6-7 with yet another loss to a MAC team!

I assume you thought that last week, as well?

Anyone that thought last week was anything other than a fluke has not been watching Iowa football. OSU simply did not show up, and they brought a horrible game plan. We did actually play well on offense for the first time all year, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. This team has looked bad on offense every single game this year, outside of 1 game. The lights didn't magically come on for good last week. This is what we will continue to get with the Ferentz clan. Yesterday was simply unacceptable any way you look at it. Wisconsin has not done that to any other team this year. Not even close.

Actually, I think these 2 weeks have become our norm. Every year, we play the best game in the history of football and also play the worst game in the history of football, or in other words, we have a good WTF game and a bad WTF game. It just so happened that this year's two games were in back-to-back weeks.

New OC. Blow up. Cant tell me you didnt have hope. Same with 2015. Michigan in 15. A few more will drop from apologist list.

I think the ferentzs didn't get punked but are punking the athletic director and fans.

To me there are two issues at play here. One is that Ferentz seems to pull a miracle out of his butt every so often that makes me not want to hate him anymore. The 2015 season, minus how it ended, is a good example. The OSU game is another one. The other issue is that as much as I sometimes hate Ferentz, I know what we've got and I'm really, really scared to change. I would argue that regime changes fail more often than they succeed and I don't have a tremendous amount of confidence in this Athletic Department to find the right coach.
