Key to the PSU Game....Make McSorely...well....Sore?

If we contain McSorely and win the turnover battle, I would think we should be in good shape. He seemed to be the X factor for them on offense yesterday.

We have to keep him from converting 3rd downs with his legs. If we do that and don't turn the ball over then we have a good shot.

McSorley has always been an x factor. You knew Barkley was amazing and when you focused on him at the mesh point Mcsorley would keep it and go for big yards.

Look at how bad Ohio State is running the ball in their offense without a really good Barrett or other QB running the show. the RPO doesnt work well if the qb cant run very well although that is not exactly what either PSU or OSU run

Have to contain McSorley and also not let PSU get a bunch of jump ball completions

With our defense the way it is I suspect we will spy him all game. Try to not let him get outside to bust big runs.

Stanley has to play smart but cutthroat. This game is winnable now when at the start of the season it looked like a blowout loss.

Since he plays football there he helps a system that enables pedophilia. All the players should be made sore for knowingly going there to support that evil.

He's an average passer at best. When he takes off and starts running we need to bring the hammer down on him, treat him like a RB.

Yeah put Nieman on him or heck even Hooker. Either of them should be able to run with him well enough. Our Dline has done such a great job of keeping QBs contained in the pocket this year that I think we should give them a big run for their money. They don't scare me.

The D needs to take good angles (including you, Gervase) and play solid assignment football. It'll be a test, for sure.

Another thing I would like to see is getting a few more Knockdowns. While we have been able to knock down a pass or 2 every game this year, I think we did a better job of it last year.

IIRC we had 5 or 6 against McSorley last year. With our size, when we cannot get to him on a pass play, we really need to read his eyes and get those hands up in the passing lanes.

Also, at the end of the game after our final victory formation snap, Stanley better turn around and punt the ball and swing for the fences or I will be pissed.
