Broncos have the ball with 29 seconds and 3 TO's in their pocket. They take a knee and play for ot.
Now in serious danger of losing the game.
But it gave them the best chance to win. I mean not lose........ chomp, snort

OP was confusing it with going into halftime with 3 and doing same thing.

It's intetesting 'cause all season long, they play to win (or score) in those similar situations and its worked, and here in playoffs they take a knee (twice), and lose.
 
Why not go for it? I mean, Manning was throwing the ball so well, and even if Baltimore got the ball, it's not like they were throwing it over the Denver defense all night. There was zero risk in going for the win.
