Michigan State has the easiest schedule. Iowa's is the 2nd easiest IMO. If we both run the table we could be Kenpom's 1 and 2 going into the conference tournament.

Why does the rest of Iowa's schedule now look scary?

I hope they pull out the win at Penn State. They don't play for another week after that game and this team looks like they could use some time to unwind.

Yeah, all the sudden that Wiscy game looks much more daunting. @ Michigan on senior night with a healthy Lavert is going to be very tough as well.

That last five is nowhere near a gimme and if we can go 5-0 we should be back to a projected 1 seed.

Because they're so close to winning the conference out-right. Something we've never seen (or only seen once) in our lives.

So every game looks like Goliath.

I think we will win our 5 remaining games. But I'll go with an objective approach. Below are the point spreads per Sagarin...and Sagarin could care less who wins.

@ Penn State = -11
Wisconsin = -10
@ Ohio State = -5.5
Indiana = -6
@ Michigan = -1

We're undefeated at home. Those 2 games don't worry me. Also, Uthoff wants to say a proper goodbye to Wisconsin and we owe Indiana. Plus, Indiana is Senior Day.

We are in a bit of a funk so we may not cover at Penn State but I most definitely think we will win. I have watched Ohio State play a few times and I can't envision them beating us. When Michigan plays well they are tough. It's their Senior Day and we almost certainly will be ranked in the top 5. I think we will win but won't be shocked if we lose. Take care of the first 4 and we most likely have a 2 game lead going into Michigan and can play loose.

Side Note - Vegas has Iowa -11.5 @ Penn State

@Penn State - sorta scary after what they did to Indiana. But I'm still not convinced Indiana is all that great. Iowa should win easily and get a much needed week off.

Wisconsin - I'd like to see what they do @Michigan State this Thursday first. Wisconsin is getting hot at the right time, and if they didn't crap the bed with those horrible...HORRIBLE...early losses, they would be off the bubble and in the tourney

@OSU - shouldn't be scary, but it is Ohio State. OSU hasn't beaten anyone this year besides Kentucky. They don't have a single quality B1G win. One huge positive is that the game is on CBS so we don't have to listen to Dakich crush on Aaron Craft constantly

Indiana - least scary game to me for some reason. Iowa will be in FU mode for that game, and its senior night for one of the best group of seniors in Iowa basketball history (as a collection)

@Michigan - Healthy LeVert (presumably), Senior night for LeVert, Michigan will desperately need this win to play themselves off the bubble. This game seems like a loss to me.

I hate road games

I don't mind them against good teams - more to gain than to lose with those. It's the @PSU, @ILL (this year, anyway) type games that I hate - *should* win but anything on the road could easily turn into an L on an off night, and that makes me nervous. I'm not looking past @OSU, either.

We should win the next 4. Take care of business in those 4 and it's highly likely we are up 2 with 1 to play. We can be very loose going into the Michigan game...should help the bench especially.

Hold Serve at home. Beat awful penn state. And split osu and Michigan. That should be enough to win out right. Maryland has another loss in them.

I think that is the scenario.

Winning out would be awesome, and if we play well, very doable. That said, I think we can lose 1 and still be a 1 seed (as long as it's not PSU). Every game will be tough because 1) we are a huge target and we will get everyone's best game 2) the pressure will grow with each win 3) Wisc, OSU, Ind, and Mich all have the talent to be extremely tough if they play well.

Go Hawks, finish the dream!
