Yeah the refs totally lost control of this game by not calling a taunting penalty early and then talking to both head coaches to tell the players to stop after the whistle.
It also didnt help when the refs missed and called a bunch of bad penalties.
Jack Koerhner took a helmet to helmet after his interception and after he went out of bounds. It was right in front of the Iowa bench where the coaches and players wanted a flag but guess what the refs blew a sideline warning against the hawks. I couldnt believe replay in the booth didnt stop play to give out a targeting or unsportsmanlike penalty to Nebby
