Their offense is amazing. How in the world do they find guys open in space so often! Reminds me of Iowa is uncanny.

Oh funny!!! And the chargers are very good. There is going to be a lot of bitching on the 4th and 8 PI call against the Chiefs where the receiver was going to land out of bounds and then the non PI push off against the chargers wideout on the last TD.

Yep, and if the chargers lost, they'd be talking alot about the Helmet to Helmet no-call.

I like the Chiefs but I like the Chargers a bit more.

Yes, that hit was very close. Rivers was in a runners mode and it could have been a late hit or helmet to helmet but it looked like the shoulder pads hit the shoulder pads first. All in all the refs swallowed their whistles on some plays then called a little incidental hand brush on a receivers hand as PI the pass took him out of the end zone.

And I have always liked the chargers going back to 1963 and Bambi and others. just a bigger chiefs fan but the Chiefs weakness compared to the chargers is pass defense

Mahomes will be a multi year all pro. More importantly, they know how to use him. Great game last night. I get the feeling we're gonna have a new Super Bowl Champ this year (as in, not New England or somebody else who's been there in the last 20 years). The Rams, Chargers, Chiefs, even the Bears all look like they go all the way.

That play was not the 4th and 8 play. It was like 2nd down but time was running down in game.

Slow mo showed helmet on helmet clearly

As a Chiefs guy it was a hell of a game last night that I'm still recovering from, but a great performance in the 4th by the Chargers. That said, I would have loved to have seen this game on Sunday or Monday night rather than a Thursday night game. Just hate seeing two great teams battling for a division title and possibly home field, on a short week. Not that anybody is 100% at this time of year, but both teams were pretty banged up on Sunday and could have used a few more days to get ready. Regardless...a good win by the Chargers.

Should also add that Steven A. Smith sure knew exactly what we were in for while hyping the game on his show yesterday...Wait never mind!!!

Just another Chiefs 2nd half collapse only this time not in playoffs

Yeah, the chiefs high powered offenses slow down in december and january (if they get that far) and it has been awhile since the chiefs had a derrick thomas type great defense.

While they'll surely slow down offensively I don't think it'll be as bad as they have in the past. Last night would have been (or at least should have been) a bit different with a healthy Hill and Watkins and despite a great effort by Williams I think they're a little more comfortable with Ware in the backfield. While I don't think it'll be what we say earlier this season, I do think it'll be better than it was last night going forward. Defensively they're raw. I think they've got individual talent, but will continue to struggle. Losing Fuller in the secondary last night was huge.

There is a good chance that the quarterback that represents the AFC in the Super Bowl will not have the last name of Brady, Roethlisberger or Manning

It's hard to not like Rivers. He's the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL almost. Dude has had a HOF career pretty much and this might be his best yr yet. If he could have one solid playoff run and just make the Super Bowl....

Mayfield???

The Chiefs are the Payton Manning of the AFC, great in the regular season, choke in the playoffs.
I do agree on the Bears and the Rams. give Bears a leg up, that defense is just insane.

The Chiefs didn't have Pat Mahomes before this year. Andy Reid, on the other hand, does have that m.o.
