Kansas City Golf help please

Going down Monday for the home run derby. Assuming I can get on anywhere what are the best courses. I have a tee time at Tiffany Greens but they have an outing is the slow play worth it for the course or any other recommendations?

Shoal Creek near Liberty. Rated one of the top public courses in Missouri. In fact it hosts the KC Amateur next weekend. Reasonable rates.

Tried Shoal Creek they had an outing Monday couldn't get on. Anyone played Tiffany Greens?

Sycamore Ridge in Spring Hill, Ks. Designed by Jim Colbert. I bit of a drive from where you'll be, but ranked top public course in the KC area the past few years. Front nine is links style, back is target golf cut out of the woods. They have a website.
